Progreaux biochar is made from sugarcane bagasse, whose vascular architecture survives pyrolysis as a uniform honeycomb of continuously channeled pores at 10–50 µm. That structure holds water and nutrients more consistently than wood-based alternatives, and unlike most biochars, it carries inherent N-P-K along with calcium and magnesium retained from the cane, so a single application amends structure and feeds the soil. Heavy metals run one to two orders of magnitude below EPA Class A thresholds, and single-source production from one feedstock keeps batch-to-batch consistency tight.
Performance is strongest in sandy, salt-affected, and degraded soils where structure, water retention, and fertility need rebuilding at once. In clay, the continuous pore network improves drainage and aeration. Available in bulk truckload or super sacks.
